Christmas Prelude – Candlelight Caroling

The Franciscan Guest House is open and taking reservations before and during the Christmas Prelude celebrations in Kennebunk and Kennebunkport – Thursday, December 2nd through Sunday, December 12th.

Join the Franciscan Friars for an evening of Christmas songs by candlelight. Christmas Prelude starts Thursday December 2rd and ends Sunday December 12th. The Friars welcome you to our beautiful chapel and grounds – open to the public all year. Your support is humbly requested to help maintain the buildings and grounds which include shrines, landscaping by the famous architect who designed New York Central Park, F.L. Olmsted, our beautiful chapel designed by the famous Lithuanian artist V. Jonynas, and many other treasures.

Tickets are $25. There are 7 cash prices: One $1,000, One $500, and five $200 each. Only 800 tickets to be sold. Drawing to be held October 10th, 2021. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Franciscan Monastery Gift Shop located near the chapel. Gift Shop hours are Monday-Saturday 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Tickets may also be purchased at the chapel during office hours Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and after each Mass on Sundays (Masses are at 8 am; 9:15 am; 11 am).
